June might’ve flown by, but it left behind two unforgettable stories that completely stole my heart. If you're looking for romance reads that will make you feel something, whether it's butterflies, heartbreak, or laugh-out-loud joy, these are the books to add to your TBR immediately. ✨
💀 Direbound by Sadie Sorensen
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Romantasy | Dark, emotional, and so beautifully written it hurt
This book wrecked me, in the best way. It’s haunting, intimate, and so atmospheric I felt like I was living inside it. If you love morally gray love interests, forbidden magic, and stories that make you question who’s good or bad… Direbound is your next obsession.
"We’re not meant to survive each other. But gods, I want to try." Cue the goosebumps. 🖤

☀️ Till Summer Do Us Part by Meghan Quinn
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Romantic Comedy | Lighthearted, spicy, and full of summer charm
After the emotional rollercoaster of Direbound, this book was like sunshine in paperback form. Meghan Quinn has such a gift for balancing swoon-worthy romance with the kind of humor that makes you snort-laugh in public. And don’t even get me started on the chemistry between the leads, it was electric.
“You make me feel like fireworks, and I haven’t felt that in a long, long time.”

☕ Final Thoughts
June was a five-star reading month, and I’m not mad about it. Both of these reads gave me exactly what I needed—one emotional and intense, the other light and funny. That’s the balance I crave as a romance/romantasy reader. 💕
Have you read either of these? Or do you have a favorite five-star romance or romantasy recommendation I need to read in July? Drop it in the comments!
