June mightāve flown by, but it left behind two unforgettable stories that completely stole my heart. If you're looking for romance reads that will make you feelĀ something, whether it's butterflies, heartbreak, or laugh-out-loud joy, these are the books to add to your TBR immediately. āØ
šĀ Direbound by Sadie Sorensen
āļøāļøāļøāļøāļøĀ | Romantasy | Dark, emotional, and so beautifully written it hurt
This book wreckedĀ me, in the best way. Itās haunting, intimate, and so atmospheric I felt like I was living inside it. If you love morally gray love interests, forbidden magic, and stories that make you question whoās good or bad⦠DireboundĀ is your next obsession.
"Weāre not meant to survive each other. But gods, I want to try." Cue the goosebumps. š¤

āļøĀ Till Summer Do Us Part by Meghan Quinn
āļøāļøāļøāļøāļøĀ | Romantic Comedy | Lighthearted, spicy, and full of summer charm
After the emotional rollercoaster of Direbound, this book was like sunshine in paperback form. Meghan Quinn has such a gift for balancing swoon-worthy romance with the kind of humor that makes you snort-laugh in public. And donāt even get me started on the chemistry between the leads, it was electric.
āYou make me feel like fireworks, and I havenāt felt that in a long, long time.ā

āĀ Final Thoughts
June was a five-star reading month, and Iām not mad about it. Both of these reads gave me exactly what I neededāone emotional and intense, the other light and funny. Thatās the balance I crave as a romance/romantasy reader. š
Have you read either of these? Or do you have a favorite five-star romance or romantasy recommendation I needĀ to read in July? Drop it in the comments!
